Fall Wreaths

Fall wreaths are usually hung between early September through Thanksgiving. Fall wreaths are also known as autumn or Thanksgiving wreaths. Fall wreaths often have a fall leaf theme with orange and red, rust colored leaves. Fall wreaths may have a Halloween theme as well. Greeks and Romans used wreaths as Trophies. Greeks and Romans wore wreaths around the head or neck by Victors (Winners) at celebrations and afterwards hung the wreaths as trophies. The wreath was also said to bring good luck. The round shape or circular pattern symbolizes no beginning or end much like a wedding ring symbolizing the flow of the years.
